•
Keep the product and cord out of the reach of children.
•
Do not allow pets or small children to chew on the power cord to avoid electric shock.
•
Do not allow children to play with the product. Use and store the product out of the reach
of children.
•
Place the product out of reach of pets and other animals.
•
If burns occur, immediately run lukewarm cold water over the affected body part. Do not
stop to remove clothing and seek medical attention quickly.
•
To avoid personal injury and damage to the product, do not allow anyone to climb in or
on, stand on or against the product.
•
The product should not be used by children under 14 years of age. Use of the product is
allowed only when a supervisor is present and responsible for the safety of the user.
•
No one, especially children under the age of 8, should stand near the product. Older
children may turn the product on and off under supervision or if they have been
instructed in the safe use of the product and have understood the associated risks,
provided the product is placed and installed in the normal operating position.
•
Ensure constant adult and responsible supervision during use. The product is not
protected by a thermostat and will not interrupt unless manually disconnected from the
gas regulator.
•
The guard on this appliance is to prevent risk of fire or injury from burns and no part of it
should be permanently removed. IT DOES NOT GIVE FULL PROTECTION FOR YOUNG CHILDREN
OR THE INFIRM.
2.3 Use
•
Read the instructions before using this appliance.
•
This appliance requires a hose and regulator, check with your gas supplier.
•
Use only in a well-ventilated area.
•
Do not use in leisure vehicles such as caravans and auto caravans.
•
After use turn off the appliance at the gas container valve.
•
Positioning of the appliance close to walls, furniture, hangings, net curtains, bed linen and
other inflammable materials may cause fire.
•
Do not move the appliance when operating, shocks and bumps may activate the safety
device.
•
When used in a country other than the Netherlands, the purchase of the appropriate
regulator or a Dutch gas tank is required.
•
Do not use the product near a bathtub, shower, swimming pool, or near a (laundry) tub
filled with water. Do not touch the product or power cord with wet hands. Do not allow
the product to come into contact with water. Do not immerse the product in water. If
water does get in or on the product, turn the product off immediately and contact our
customer service department.
•
Do not cover the product when it is on. Never place pillows or blankets on or against the
product. This may cause a fire hazard, electric shock, personal injury or damage to the
product.
•
Always place the product on a horizontal, level, stable and non-flammable surface.
•
Parts of the product become hot. Do not clean the product while it is still hot. Wait for the
product to cool down before cleaning it.
