3. Instructions for use
3.1 Operation
There are 3 components that require extra attention:
1.
The gas valve on the gas cylinder: Turns the gas supply open and closed.
2. The control knob: This control knob is located at the top of the product (see Product
Overview - Control Panel).
3. The piezoelectric ignition button: This button is located at the top of the product (see
Product Overview - Control Panel). Pressing this button creates a spark on the pilot light
and ignites the gas to the pilot light.
3.2 Installation
1.
Insert the gas bottle into the product.
2. Install the protective cap to ensure that the gas bottle cannot move.
3. Connect the gas hose to the gas valve with the cap (make sure there is no leakage).
4. Connect the other end of the gas hose to the gas regulator with the cap (make sure
there is no leakage).
5. Open the gas valve before you want to use the product, and close the gas valve after
use.
3.3 Gas cylinder installation/replacement

The gas cylinder must be replaced according to the instructions provided.

Turn off the gas regulator and allow the product to cool completely before removing and
replacing the gas cylinder. Do not replace the gas cylinder while the product is still in use.

The gas bottle must be replaced in a flame-free environment.
•
Do not smoke while replacing the gas cylinder.
•
While replacing the empty gas cylinder, turn off the gas valve or regulator and remove
the gas cylinder from the product. Remove the regulator from the empty gas cylinder.
•
Change the container in a flame-free atmosphere.
3.4 Lighting
1.
Make sure there is a rubber washer on the gas regulator and the washer is in good
condition. If it is not, do not proceed with the steps!
2. Connect the gas regulator to the gas bottle by turning the handwheel counterclockwise.
3. Open the gas bottle by turning the gas bottle valve counterclockwise. Turn the gas
control knob on the heater to position 1 (see Product Overview - Control Panel).
4. Press and hold down the control knob. This will cause gas to flow to the pilot light and
center burner.
5. While holding down the control knob, press the ignition button 2 or 3 times. Each time you
press the ignition, you will hear a clicking sound and see a spark on the pilot light.
6. Once the pilot light is lit, press and hold the control knob for another 10 to 15 seconds,
which activates the flame failure protection.
