Charge the battery
General remarks
Important! Parallel operation of consumers (car radio, etc.) is possible during the
charging process. Parallel operation of consumers may lengthen the charging time. If
the power consumed is greater than the maximum available charging current, the battery
may be drained. Ensure that the power used for additional consumers is less than the
maximum available charging current (see Technical Data).

Middle switch position - „wet" mode
Upper switch position - „GEL" mode
Lower switch position - external power supply/reactivating deep-discharge
batteries
CAUTION! Risk of damage when attempting to charge a faulty battery. Before
charging, ensure that the battery to be charged is fully functional.
CAUTION! Risk of damage if mode is changed during charging. Disconnect
the charger from the mains and battery before changing the mode.

For charging liquid (Pb, Ca, Ca silver) or fixed (GEL, AGM, MF, sealant) electro-
lyte batteries that are used in starter or traction applications.
For charging liquid (Pb, Ca, Ca silver) or fixed (GEL, AGM, MF, sealant) electro-
lyte batteries that are used in standby applications (e.g. emergency power
systems) or at temperatures above 35°C (95° F).

- For reactivating deep-discharge batteries

Important! The mode selector switch is
located approx. 10 mm behind the ventila-
tion slots on the right-hand side panel.
Only operate the mode selector switch
using a suitable screwdriver (D = 2.5 mm
or less).
