1withoutwateranddonotoverfillit;
observetheminandmaxmarkings.If
thekettleistoofull,thewaterwillboil
over!
Before using
for the first time
● Removeanystickersorfilm.
● Unrolltherightamountofcablefromthe
cabletidy10andplugitin.
● Fillthekettle1withwater.Bringthewater
toaboilanddiscardit.Repeattheproce-
dure.Thiswillmakesurethatthekettleis
cleanfornormaluse.
● Whenthewatercomestoaboilforthe
firsttime,addatablespoonofwhite
vinegar.

● Fillthekettlewithfreshwaterthroughthe
spoutortheopenlid2(presslidrelease
button3).
● Checktheamountbyreadingthewater
levelindicatormarkingsminandmax.
● Closethelid2untilitlocksandplacethe
kettle1onthebase9.
● PresstheOON/OFFswitch 4.The
kettleemitsasignal,andthefactory-set
temperature(100°C)lightsup.Thewater
isbeingheated.
● Bypressingbutton6+or–youcanset
thetemperaturetoca.70°C,ca.80°C,
ca.90°Corca.100°C.
● Whenthewaterhasreachedtheselected
temperature,thekettlewillswitchoff
automatically,thetemperatureindicator5
goesoff,andasignalsounds.
Note: Theselectedtemperaturecanbe
changedatanytimewhilethekettleis
heatingup.Whilethekettleheatsup,the
currenttemperaturelightsup;thepreset
temperatureflashesuntilithasbeen
reached.
Ifthetemperaturecannotbeset,thisindi-
catesthatthewaterinthekettleishotter
thanthedesiredtemperature.Thecurrent
temperaturewilllightup.
Youcanturnoffthekettleatanytimeby
pressingtheOON/OFFswitch4again.
Warning:Ifyouremovethekettle1from
thebaseandreplaceitbeforetheheating
processisover,thekettlewillnotcontinue
toheatthewater.Theselectedsettingswill
belost(resettofactorysetting).
