8. Before using the appliance for the fi rst time
Remove all packaging materials.
CAUTION!
Risk of burning!
The housing becomes hot during operation.
During operation, only touch the appliance using the but-
tons and handles provided for this purpose.
Before using the appliance for the first time, proceed as follows to remove residues left
over from the production process.
Connect the toaster to a domestic power socket.
Set the browning control (5) to the highest setting 6 and press down the operating but-
ton (2) to switch on the toaster.
