Connect the plug of the black test
lead in the "COM" connector
Connect the plug of the red test
lead in the "V" connector.
Select the resistance measure-
ment range "Ω" using the rotary
switch.
Select diode test "
"SELECT" button.
Place the measurement probes
on the measurement object if
known, e.g. the red measure-
ment probe with a diode on the
anode and the black measure-
ment probe on the cathode.
If the display shows "OL", the
semiconductor line is interrupted
or it is being measured in the re-
verse direction.
Change the polarity of the measurement probes. Should the
display show a value e.g. 0.5 V, measure in the continuity direction
(red = Anode, black = cathode). If "OL" appears in both measurement
directions, the component is defective.
