Problem
No operation indication
No RF signal
RF signal available
but no audio signal
Audio signal has a high
level of background noise
Audio signal distorted

Possible cause
Batteries are flat
No mains connection
Transmission frequency is not the
same as the receiving frequency
Transmitter is out of range
Transmitter is muted ("MUTE")
