optimal compatibility with PowerA Wired controllers.
2. Make sure your Nintendo Switch system is powered on and connected to your TV.
3. Insert the USB-A cable connector into a USB port on the Nintendo Switch
dock. Connect the micro USB cable connector end to the wired controller.
The Connection / Program LED will turn solid WHITE when connected to the
Nintendo Switch dock. Your wired controller is now ready for use.
4. For audio, fully insert the 3.5 mm jack of your headset or headphone into the
3.5 mm Audio Jack Socket of the Wired Controller
NOTE:
• Only some software titles support microphone or chat function. Please check the
software title manual for compatibility or support.
• Please make sure the volume on the Nintendo Switch is lowered before connecting
a headset or headphone to the Wired Controller to prevent hearing damage.
• Once connected, slowly raise the volume on the Nintendo Switch to a comfortable
level. You can also set the maximum volume for headsets or headphones connected
to the Nintendo Switch. From the 'Home' screen, select 'System Settings', 'System',
'Lower Max Headphone Volume', select 'On'.

is connected to the Wired Controller, audio from all other devices including HDMI
connected devices will be disabled. When connecting more than one USB audio device,
only the first device connected will have an audio output.
• Do not use high volume settings for an extended period of time to avoid hearing loss.
