5.7 Testing the car battery
NOTICE
Turn off vehicle's engine before testing
the battery voltage.

2. Connect the 12 V auxiliary cord and
plug (B) to the vehicle's 12 V cigarette
lighter socket. The display lights up,

5.8 Testing the car alternator
1. Roll out the 12 V auxiliary cord and
plug (B).
2. Connect the 12 V auxiliary cord and
plug (B) to the vehicle's 12 V cigarette
lighter socket. The display lights up,
the product is in standby mode.

sure the vehicle is in neutral gear.
5. Press on the gas to rev the engine at
2000 rpm for 1 minute. The display
shows alternator output voltage and
condition (Fig. 5).
