Inspired by life
n The attendant must reduce the speed of the
wheelchair using the push handles.
n If you are using the wheelchair yourself, slow
down the wheelchair with your hands only on
the hoops. Never use the brake, as you may lose
control of the wheelchair.
Others
n Drive carefully on roads that are slippery due to
rain, ice or snow!
n Do not allow the wheelchair to come into con-
tact with seawater: seawater is aggressive and
will affect the wheelchair.
n Do not allow the wheelchair to come into
contact with sand: sand can penetrate into the
rotating parts of the wheelchair, causing unne-
cessarily rapid wear and tear.
n Do not place the wheelchair in direct sunlight:
the upholstery may become too hot and cause
sunburn or skin sensitization.
n If you are under the influence of substances that
may affect your ability to drive, you should not
drive the wheelchair.
n You must have sufficient eyesight to be able to
drive the wheelchair safely in the respective use
situation.
n Be careful not to let any items of clothing hang
loose. These could get between the wheels.
n Never lift the wheelchair by the armrests, as this
can lead to dangerous situations.
