GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
Even though the taping heads have safety guards,
take particular care not to touch the blade that cuts
the adhesive tape as it is extremely sharp.
Before using the taping heads read the following in-
structions carefully:
BEFORE
• Read the instructions regarding the use of taping
heads (see Part 2);
• Carefully read the Use, Maintenance and Spare
Parts Handbook for the machine;
• Ensure that the taping heads move freely;
• Insert the adhesive tape in the taping head using
only the special strip included;
• Take special care not to touch the taping head
blades.
DURING
• Keep hands well away from the taping heads;
• Ensure that there is nothing obstructing the oper-
ation of the taping heads;
• Should a box to be taped become trapped in the
machine, switch the machine off and free the box
by stretching the belts of the machine and raising
the upper head carriage, «DO NOT FORCE ANY
PART».
AFTER
•
take particular care when using solvents to clean
blades and rollers coming into contact with the
adhesive tape.
WARNING
The taping head should be operated exclusively by
previously trained personnel.

zijn
de
beschermingen, let goed op de snijbladen van de
kleefband, want die zijn heel scherp. Vooraleer
de bandkoppen te gebruiken, lees aandachtig de
volgende instructies:
VOOR
• Lees de gebruiksaanwijzingen van de bandkop-
pen (zie Deel 2);
• Lees aandachtig de Handleiding voor Gebruik en
Onderhoud en Wisselonderdelen van de machi-
ne;
• Waak erover dat de bandkoppen vrij kunnen be-
wegen;
• Voer de kleefband enkel in met de meegeleverde
speciale strook;
• Let goed op de bladen van de bandkoppen.
TIJDENS
•
Blijf met de handen uit de buurt van de bandkop-
pen;
•
Hinder de werking van de bandkoppen niet;
• Indien de te sluiten doos vastloopt, stop de ma-
chine en maak de doos vrij door de doorvoerrie-
men van de machine te verbreden en de wagen
van de bovenste bandkop omhoog te brengen,
«FORCEER NIET».
NA
• Let goed op en maak de bladen en rollen die in
contact komen met de kleefband schoon met een
solvent.

OPGELET
Op de bandkop dient enkel één vooraf opgeleid per-
soon te werk gaan.
