Backpedal briefly and then pedal forwards again
to trigger the system check. If there is still no
assistance being delivered, please consult your
specialist cycle shop.
• Tighten the chest belt.
• Change the battery. To do so, unscrew the bat-
tery cover on the reverse of the chest belt us-
ing a coin and exchange the battery beneath
the cover for an appropriate replacement bat-
tery ensuring that the polarity is not reversed.
• Moisten the chest belt with electrode gel or
water before putting it on.
• Clean the chest belt with lukewarm water and
a mild soap solution.
• Stay away from possible sources of
disturbance.
• First switch the Impulse ERGO Pedelec off,
and then on again.
Ride slowly and hold down the mode button on
the NuVinci Harmony gears for between five and
seven seconds.
Wait five minutes. During this period, the bat-
tery will have recovered and you can switch the
system back on again. The display functions once
more. From now on, please only ride in the mode
"no assistance/stand by". At this point you can
also operate the gears once more. In this way, you
can ride for another hour until the battery finally
switches off. Note: The battery switches off as
soon as you begin to ride using the power-assist
mode once more.
