Charging the battery
The battery pack for this tool is supplied in a low
charge condition to prevent possible
problems, therefore, you have to charge the
battery before first use
.
Only after several charge and discharge
cycles the battery will attain full capacity.
- LI-ION BATTERY
Advantages of Li-ion batteries :
- Li-ion batteries have a higher capacity/weight
ratio (more power for less heavy, more
compact, battery)
- No memory effect (capacity loss after several
charge/discharge cycles) like other type
batteries. (Ni-Cd, Ni-MeH ..) .
- Limited self discharge.
Never charge the battery
for more than 1 hours.
Charge battery pack solely
with the charger provided !
Make sure that the power
supply is 100-240VAC
Connect the charger to a power supply. Attach
battery pack to charger : the red light goes on.
To prevent damage to the
battery pack, remove the
battery pack immediately
from the charger
when no LED lights. Return
battery pack and charger to
your dealer for checking or
Do not insert a battery pack
into a damaged charger, it
may damage your battery
Note :
- The battery pack will become slightly warm
while charging. This is normal and does not
indicate a problem.
- Do not place charger in an area of extreme
heat or cold. It will work best at normal room
temperature.

unplug your charger from the power supply and
remove the battery pack from the charger
Positioning and removing a drill or screw bit
Lock the switch trigger on the drill by placing the
forward/reverse) selector in its centre position.
This tool is equipped with a keyless chuck (4).
Open the chuck
Insert the drill or screw bit in the chuck.
Close the chuck by firmly tightening the sleeve
while holding the rear part of the chuck with the
other hand.
In order to remove the drill or screw bit
proceed in reverse order.
WARNING:
Make sure to insert drill bit straight into chuck
jaws.
Do not insert drill bit into chuck jaws at an angle,
this could cause drill bit to be thrown from drill
resulting in possible serious personal injury or
damage to the chuck
.
Before positioning or
removing a drill or screw
bit always remove the
battery from the machine.
Forward/reverse switch
Push the forward/reverse switch (2) to the left
to drill holes and fasten screws.
Push the forward/reverse switch (2) to the right
to loosen screws.
To prevent damage to the
gearbox, always allow the
chuck to come to a
complete stop before
changing the direction of
rotation or selecting
another speed (1-2). To
stop, release the trigger
switch.
