4.7 Tracing Underground Wires
The AT-8000-EUR can trace wires underground, the same way it can locate wires behind walls
or floors.
Perform tracing as described in Energized SMART SENSOR
Energized TIP SENSOR modes.
You can use a hot sick attachment to make tracing more ergonomic and convenient.
4.8 Tracing Low Voltage Wires and Data Cables
The AT-8000-EUR can trace data, audio, and thermostat cables (to trace shielded data
cables, refer to section 4.6).
Trace data, audio, and thermostat cables:
1. Connect the Transmitter using the separate ground method described in section 3.2.
2. Set the Receiver to De-energized TIP SENSOR mode and trace the wire.
