10.1 Produkt

Motion detectors are not suitable as a component for alarm systems within the meaning of the German as-
sociation of property insurance (VdS). You can trigger false alarms if the installation site has been cho-
sen unfavorably.
Use only EN 60998-2-1 and EN 60998-2-2 approved terminals.
Follow local installation and building regulations.
Not recommended for children and people with physical and / or mentally limited capabilities.
Secure packaging, small parts and insulation against accidental use.
Install the system and devices attached to it in a way that persons cannot be injured, or objects

Intended use
This product is intended exclusively for private use and its intended purpose. This product is
not intended for commercial use. We do not permit using the device in other ways like
described in chapter „Description and Function" or in the „Safety Instructions". Use the
product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions
might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.

Preparation

Mounting

Select the installation site according to the following criteria:
Ventilation openings must not be in the vicinity.
Heat sources such as heating shafts or air conditioning systems must not be in the vicinity.
Plants, street lights, reflective surfaces, air conditioning vents or randomly moving objects
must not be in the detection range.-free.

Connection
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Have open cable ends connected ONLY by an experienced electrician.
Do not touch any live parts!
Always de-energise all circuits before working on the unit!

Before working on the product, de-energise it, switch off the fuse and secure it against being swit-
ched on again.
2.
Use a voltage tester to check whether the cables to be wired are really de-energised.
3.
Install the cables as shown in the connection drawing Fig. 2.
4.
Plug the connection (4) into the corresponding position on the main unit (5).
5.
Mount the main unit (5) at the fixing holes (3) with screws at the desired position. Observe the ins-
tallation height of 2.2 - 4 m.

Operating
Set the light sensitivity and the light duration on the main unit (5).

The light sensitivity is set by moving the light sensitivity control ☼ to the desired position
Slide the DIP switch for the sun operating mode ☼ downwards.
Tip: As the DIP switches are small, you could move them with a pencil tip, for example.
The motion detector is active at night and during the day.

Move the DIP switch for the Moon☼ operating mode upwards.

The motion detector is active when the ambient light is less than 10 LUX.
Move the DIP switch for the light sensitivity of the sensor ∆ down. Down is the maximum.

Set the light duration by moving one of the DIP switches upwards. The following light duration is

10 Disposal instructions
10.1 Product

disposed with consumers waste. Its components must be recycled or disposed apart from each
other. Otherwise contaminative and hazardous substances can damage the health and pollute
the environment.
