5 | Installation
1. Pull the ventilation adapter sleeve
(green slip; 1) downwards

2. Carefully pull down the black ventila-
tion pipe (2) [
3. Dismantle the exhaust cover (3). To do
this, open the metal lugs and pull the
cover up and away [

The exhaust cover has been success-
fully removed.
>>
The ventilation pipe and the ventila-
tion adapter coupling are returned to
their original position in reverse order.

The electrical compartment can be
closed again.
Setting up the Combi-Duo and the top
unit

The bottom unit is placed on a stand
with feet or castors or an auto levelling
kit.

The top side of the bottom unit is
clean and free of grease.

The exhaust cover has been removed.

The electrical compartment is closed.

The left side panel and the front panel
of the Combi-Duo frame are removed.
1. Loosen 5 screws from the lid of the
bottom unit.
2. Place the Combi-Duo base frame on
top of the bottom unit. Align the frame
so that the closed, right-hand side
panel of the frame is flush with the
right unit wall [
3. Attach the Combi-Duo base frame
with 5 screws [
4. Check that the large insulation mat is
positioned correctly on the right and
the small insulation mat is positioned

correctly on the left in the 2 desig-
nated recesses in the Combi-Duo base
frame.
5. Remove the rubber seal around the
unit feet edges of the top unit.
6. Pull off the cover cap on the door re-
taining bracket.
7. Place the top unit carefully on the
Combi-Duo base frame

8. Position the base of the top unit on the
trim of the Combi-Duo base frame.
Make sure that the side panels of the
base frame are not damaged.
9. Carefully slide the top unit from the
front left to the back (1) and then to
the right into the free corner of the
frame (2). Make sure that the engaging
edge of the top unit locks into the slot
of the frame, at the rear right in the
corner and at the front right in the
corner [

Important: Check that the engaging
edges are straight [
10. Bottom unit right hand door:
Put the front panel in place slightly di-
agonally on the front left. The top
sheet edge of the front panel can be
pushed underneath into the housing
frame of the top unit [
Bottom unit left hand door:
Place the front panel vertically. The L-
angle must be positioned directly next
to the kit (1).
Lift the top unit (2) slightly at the front
left corner (A) and push the top sheet
edge of the front panel under the unit.
Turn the front panel downwards (B) to
the intended position (3)
