APPLICATION
The WP/MULTI EVO pump is a horizontal nonpriming or selfpriming multistage pump for pumping clean liquids without solid
suspended particles, fibers, or abrasive materials that may chemically or mechanically attack the pump, or liquids not compatible with
the pump construction material. The WP/MULTI EVO pump must not be used for acids or corrosive substances
The pump can be used to pump water in:
• water distribution systems
WP/MULTI EVO is an assembly made up of a pump plus automatic electronic control device, which:
• starts and stops the pump according
to opening and closing of utilities.
The expansion tank has a membrane that divides it into two compartments; one for water and one for gas. The water section serves to
collect and deliver fluid in the event of a request from a utility. The gas in the relative section is compressed on collection of the fluid and
decompressed when the fluid is then delivered to the utility. The pump increases the pressure and conveys the fluid via the pipelines to
the utilities. It is started up or stopped by the electromechanical pressure switch that controls pressure on the water line. At the time of
water collection, the pressure in the pipeline drops; when the set intervention is reached on the pressure switch, the pump is started up.
On reduction of the request, the pressure increases until it reaches the shutoff pressure value.
The expansion tank influences the pump start-up and shutdown cycles.
The pressure switch is calibrated at a set point and the expansion tank is pre-charged, which must be modified on the basis of installation
specifications in order to optimise operation.
The start-up pressure is set at 1.5 bar (not modifiable).

Never use the pump for flammable and/or explosive liquids.

Improper use of the pump can lead to physical injury and/or material damage. Improper use of the product will render the
warranty null and void.
NOTE
The pump is suitable for use with drinking water for human consumption (Italian Ministerial Decree 174 and ACS). If the pump has been
assigned to uses other than water for human consumption, it may no longer subsequently be used for that purpose.
