8.1.4 Setting the date format
In the Set Date Format submenu you can determine the format for displaying the date.
>
In the System > Time submenu, select the [Set date format] item.

Press the Enter button.

Using the Tune + or Tune - buttons, select one of the following options:
[DD-MM-YYYY] (day, month, year)
[MM-DD-YYYY] (month, day, year)
>
Press the Enter button to confirm.

8.2 Display brightness
It is possible to set the display brightness both for operation and standby.
>
Hold down the Info/Menu button and use the Tune + or Tune - buttons to select
the [System] item.
>
Press the Enter button.

Using the Tune + or Tune - buttons, select the [Backlight] item and press Enter.
>
Select one of the following options using the Tune + or Tune - buttons and then
press the Enter button:
[Operation] regulates brightness in a normal, operating status. Here, you can
choose from among the brightness intensities [High], [Middle], [Low] and [Off].
Using the Tune + or Tune - buttons, select a brightness intensity and press the
Enter button to save.
