10 Troubleshooting
If the device does not operate as intended, check the following table for information.
Symptom
The device cannot be switched on. The device is not being supplied with power.
No sound can be heard.
The display does not switch on.
Poor reception via DAB+/FM.

Possible cause/remedy
Connect the power supply unit correctly to the
socket and to the device. Use new batteries and
check for the correct polarity.
Increase the volume.
Disconnect the device from the mains supply/
briefly remove the batteries and reconnect the
device to the mains.
Extend the antenna. Adjust the position of the
antenna or of the Viola 2.

Display backlight flickers.
Battery voltage too low. Replace the batteries or
connect the power supply unit.
