which can be viewed on the scale.
If the grass is taller than 60 mm it has to be shor-
tened to a maximum of 60 mm fi rst to avoid expo-
sing the robot lawn mower to excessive load and
adversely aff ecting its operating effi ciency. Use a
conventional lawn mower or trimmer to do this.
After installation has been completed, the cutting
height can be adjusted using the cutting height
adjustment facility (4). Always start with a higher
cutting height and reduce it in small steps until
you reach the desired height.
6.3 Locking mechanism / PIN
The locking mechanism prevents the unautho-
rized use of the robot lawn mower without a valid
code. You have to enter a personal four-digit secu-
rity code for this.
Lock release
Before you start using the robot lawn mower, you
have to enter the correct PIN (default PIN: "0-0-
0-0"). Enter the PIN by using the "HOME" button
(each time you press it, the number increases by
one) and "START" button (each time you press
it, the number is reduced by one), and when you
confi rm each of the 4 numbers with "OK", the
robot lawn mower automatically moves to the next
number. After entering the correct PIN and confi r-
ming the fourth number, the robot lawn mower is
unlocked.
Changing the PIN
The PIN can only be changed on the Einhell app
on your smartphone.
Requesting your PIN if you lose it
Have the receipt and the serial number of the
robot lawn mower ready. You need them in order
to get your PIN.
1. Press and hold the "HOME" and "OK" buttons
for 10 seconds in locked status
2. The eight-fi gure PUK (combination of num-
bers and letters) is now shown continuously
on the display.
3. Contact the customer services team to obtain
your PIN.

6.4 Controlling the robot lawn mower
Starting procedure
1. Unlock the control panel (2)
2. Select the "START" button and confi rm with
the "OK" button. "GO" will appear on the dis-
play
The robot lawn mower will start mowing. The
battery charge level will appear on the LED (50)
during work time. Whenever the battery charge
level drops to 30%, the robot lawn mower will
return automatically to the charging station (19). If
you start the robot lawn mower outside of the time
window you have set in the app, the robot lawn
mower will mow as long as the battery charge
lasts, then it will return to the charging station and
remain there until the next time window begins.
Canceling the mowing operation
1. To bring the robot lawn mower to an immedia-
te stop, press the STOP button.
2. Unlock the control panel (2)
3. Press the "HOME", followed by "OK" to send
the robot lawn mower along the perimeter
wire back to the charging station (19).
STOP status:
When you press the STOP button (3), the robot
lawn mower will go into STOP status. This will be
indicated on the display (50). The robot lawn mo-
wer will interrupt its mowing until this STOP status
is canceled.
STOP status can only be canceled directly on the
mower after unlocking the control panel. Then the
mower can be sent back to the charging station or
resume the mowing operation. STOP status can-
not be reset in the Einhell app.
6.5 Control of the robot lawn mower using
the app
All settings that you can make using the control
panel can also be made using the app. To do
so, fi rst download the Einhell app for robot lawn
mowers to your smart phone. The Einhell app is
