Residual risks
There will always be residual risks even
if you operate this power tool according
to the instructions. The following hazards
may occur in connection with the type and
design of this power tool:
• Eye damage if no suitable eye protec-
tion is worn.
• Lung damage if suitable respiratory
protection is not worn.
• Hearing damage if suitable ear protec-
tion is not worn.
• Health injuries resulting from the effect
of vibration on the hands and arms in
the event that the device is used over
a longer period of time or is not used
and maintained properly.
• Cutting injuries
WARNING! Danger due to electro-
magnetic field generated while the ma-
chine is in operation. Under certain cir-
cumstances, this field may negatively af-
fect active or passive medical implants.
In order to reduce the danger of serious
or fatal injuries, we recommend that indi-
viduals who wear medical implants should
consult their doctor and the manufacturer
of the implant before operating the ma-
chine.
Preparation
WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert the re-
chargeable battery into the device once
the device is fully prepared for use.
Control elements
Familiarise yourself with the operating ele-
ments before using the device for the first
time.
• On/Off switch (3)
• Switching on: Push forward, the on/
off switch locks in place

Set the rotational speed in 6 incre-
ments.
Replace sanding sheet
Notes
• Sanding discs and sanding plates are
equipped with a Velcro fabric. This al-
lows you to attach sanding sheets eas-
ily and safely.
• You can also attach sanding sheets
without Velcro to the oscillating sanding
disc.
• Only use sanding sheets that match the
size and shape of the sanding disc.
• Before you put on a sanding sheet:
Clean the sanding disc, especially the
Velcro fabric. Use a vacuum cleaner for
this purpose, for example.
Attaching sanding sheet
These instructions apply to the following
sanding discs and sanding attachments:
• Delta sanding disc (26) with Delta
sanding sheet
• Oscillating sanding disc (33) with Os-
cillating sanding sheet (with Velcro)
• Finger sanding plate (29) with Finger
sanding sheet
• Round sanding plate (29) with Round
sanding sheet
1. Place the sanding sheet (8) flush
against one side of the sanding disc
(the sanding top plate).
2. Place the sanding sheet on the sanding
disc (the sanding plate) and press the
sanding sheet firmly.
3. Check the following (sanding disc
only): Holes in the sanding sheet
and suction holes in the sanding disc
match. Otherwise, the dust extraction
system will not work.
