Attaching the sanding sheet:
Eccentric sanding disc (Fig. C)
1. Place an eccentric sanding sheet (8c)
on the sanding sheet fixer (10).
2. Use the sanding sheet fixer (10) to
place the eccentric sanding sheet
on the eccentric sanding disc (15)
and press the eccentric sanding sheet
firmly.
3. Check the following: Holes in the sand-
ing sheet and suction holes in the sand-
ing disc match. Otherwise, the dust ex-
traction system will not work.
Removing sanding sheet: Sanding
sheet with Velcro
These instructions apply to all sanding
discs with Velcro.
1. Pull off the sanding sheet (8).
2. Clean the sanding disc, especially the
Velcro fabric.
Attaching the sanding sheet:
Oscillating sanding disc, sanding
sheet without Velcro (Fig. C)
1. Cut a sanding sheet of the following
size: 93 mm × 235 mm
2. Open the clamping brackets (32) oscil-
lating sanding disc (33).
3. Guide the sanding sheet under a
clamping bracket (32) as far as it will
go.
4. Secure the sanding sheet by closing
the clamping bracket (32).
5. Place the sanding sheet tightly around
the oscillating sanding disc (33).
6. Guide the sanding sheet under the
front clamping bracket (32) as far as it
will go.
7. Secure the sanding sheet by closing
the clamping bracket (32).
8. Optional: Punch holes in the sanding
sheet, e.g. using a punching tool (avail-
able from specialist dealers).
Removing the sanding sheet:
Oscillating sanding disc, sanding
sheet without Velcro
1. Open the clamping brackets (32).
2. Remove the sanding sheet.
3. Clean the sanding disc, especially the
Velcro fabric.
Replacing the sanding disc
Removing the sanding disc (Fig. B)
1. Open the clamping lever (28).
2. Pull the sanding disc off in a down-
ward direction.
3. Clean the sanding disc and the holder
(24).
4. Close and lock the clamping lever
(28).
Mounting the sanding disc (Fig. B)
1. Turn the holder (24) so that the elong-
ated pin (23) faces backwards to-
wards the white triangle.
2. Press and hold the holder (24).
3. Press the pin (25) into the hole on the
side of the holder (24).
The holder is fixed so that it cannot
twist.
4. Open the clamping lever (28) on the
sanding disc.
5. Delta sanding disc, Oscillating sanding
disc: Align the guides on the sanding
disc and the pins in the housing with
each other.
6. Press the sanding disc into the holder
(24).
The pin (25) pops out.
7. Close and lock the clamping lever
(28).
