When the Checkme is switched on for the first time, you can configure the
device step by step: You can also make the settings in the "Settings" menu.

Use of the device
3.1 Before use
ECG function:
To obtain precise measurement results, the following points should be
observed before using the "Daily Check" or "ECG recording" functions:
• If you have dry skin or hands, moisten them with a damp cloth before
measuring.
• During the measurement process, do not touch your body with the
hand on which you are performing the measurement.
• Please note that there must be no skin contact between your right and
left hand. Otherwise, a correct measurement cannot be performed.
• You should not move or talk during the measurement process.
• If possible, perform the measurements while sitting and not standing.
Oximeter function:
To obtain precise measurement results, the following points should be
observed before using the "Daily Check" or "Oxymeter" functions:
• The finger inserted into the SpO2 sensor must be clean to obtain correct
readings.
• The following circumstances can lead to inaccurate measurement
results:
◦ Flickering or very bright light
◦ Poor blood circulation
◦ Low hemoglobin level
◦ Low blood pressure, significant vasoconstriction, severe anemia, or
hypothermia
◦ Nail polish and/or artificial fingernails.
Recent tests in which color pigments were administered to you
◦
intravascularly (with an injection)
• The oximeter may not work if blood flow is poor. Rub the finger to
increase blood flow or place the SpO2 sensor on another finger.
• The oxymeter measures the oxygen saturation of saturated hemoglobin.
High levels of deoxygenated hemoglobin (caused, for example, by sickle
cell anemia, carbon monoxide, etc.) can have a negative impact on the
accuracy of the measurements.
• The pulse curves displayed on the screen are normalized.
