Verification of measurement accuracy: SpO2 accuracy has been verified in human testing by
comparing samples to blood reference values measured with a CO oximeter. Pulse oximeter
readings are statistically distributed and approximately two-thirds of the readings are
expected to be within a certain accuracy range compared to co-oximeter readings.
