SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
EMS and the dealer of this product accept no
liability for direct or consequential injury or damage
resulting from improper use, arising in particular
through non-observance of the operating instruc-
tions, or improper preparation and maintenance.
Use for the intended purpose only: before
using the product, make sure that you have studied
the operating instructions. This also applies to
any equipment used with this product. Failure to
observe the operating instructions may result in
the patient or user suffering serious injury or the
product being damaged, possibly beyond repair.
Risk of explosion: do not use this product in
the presence of inflammable anaesthetics or gases.
No specific training other than initial profes-
sional training is required to use this medical device.
The practitioner is responsible for performing the
clinical treatments and for any dangers that may
arise due to a lack of skill and/or training.
Before each use, clean, disinfect and sterilize
the different pieces and accessories of this product.
Please refer to the information provided in the
operating instructions. Non-sterile pieces and
accessories may cause bacterial or viral infections.
Use only the powder recommended by EMS
for the subgingival application when the PERIO-
FLOW handpiece is connected to the unit. Any
other powder could cause premature wear of the
nozzle and would consequently increase the risk
of emphysema and damage to the unenameled
dentine.

nikakvu odgovornost za izravnu ili posljedičnu
ozljedu ili oštećenje koji su posljedica nepropisne
uporabe, a posebice nepoštivanja radnih uputa ili
nepropisne pripreme i održavanja.
Rabite samo u predviđenu svrhu. Prije
uporabe proizvoda, osigurajte se da ste proučili
upute za rad. Ovo također vrijedi za svu ostalu
opremu koja se rabi uz ovaj proizvod. Nepoštivanje
radnih uputa može rezultirati time da pacijent ili

Prije svake uporabe, očistite, dezinfici-
rajte i sterilizirajte različite dijelove i pribor ovoga
proizvoda. Obratite se na informacije dostavljene
u uputama za rad. Nesterilni dijelovi i pribor mogu
uzrokovati bakterijske ili virusne infekcije.
Rabite samo prašak koji preporučuje EMS
za podgingivalnu primjenu kad je ručna jedinica
PERIO-FLOW povezana na jedinicu. Svaki drugi
prašak mogao bi prouzročiti prijevremenu istro-
šenost mlaznice i time bi povećao rizik od emfizema
i oštećenja dentina bez cakline.

als gevolg van onjuist gebruik, en met name
als gevolg van het niet naleven van de gebrui-
ksinstructies, of onvoldoende voorbereiding en
onderhoud.
Gebruik het product uitsluitend waar het
voor bedoeld is: zorg dat u, vóór gebruik van dit
product, de gebruiksinstructies hebt Bestudeerd.
Dit is ook van toepassing op andere apparatuur
of onderdelen die in combinatie met dit product
gebruikt worden. Het niet naleven van de gebrui-
ksinstructies kan leiden tot ernstig letsel bij de
patiënt of gebruiker, of, mogelijk onherstelbare,
schade aan het product.
Explosiegevaar: gebruik dit product niet in de
aanwezigheid van ontvlambare narcosemiddelen
of gassen.
Om dit medische apparaat te bedienen
is geen andere specifieke opleiding vereist dan
de oorspronkelijke beroepsopleiding. De arts is
verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van de klinische
behandeling en voor ieder gevaar dat kan ontstaan
door een gebrek aan vaardigheid en/of opleiding.
Reinig, desinfecteer en steriliseer de
verschillende onderdelen en accessoires van dit
product vóór elk gebruik. Raadpleeg de informatie
in de gebruiksinstructies. Onsteriele onderdelen
en accessoires kunnen bacteriële of virusinfecties
veroorzaken.
Gebruik wanneer het PERIO-FLOW handstuk
is aangesloten op de unit uitsluitend het poeder
dat door EMS voor subgingivale toepassing wordt
aanbevolen. Ander poeder kan voortijdige slijtage
van het spuitstuk veroorzaken en daardoor het risico
op emfyseem en schade aan het ongeglazuurde
tandbeen veroorzaken.
