Note: The steamroom/steam
generator must NOT be used
during descaling!
Important! To prevent the steam generator from starting up while
it contains descaling agent, make sure unauthorised persons
do not have access to start the appliance during the descaling
process.

Instructions for descaling the Tylö Steam generator (See figures
55, 56):
1.
Start the steam generator.
2.
Wait for the steam to appear.
3.
Switch off the steam generator, first at the control panel and
then using the power switch.
4.
Wait for approx: 5 minutes.
5.
Unscrew the cover nut on the T-connector.
6.
Use a funnel to pour the descaling agent into the tank via the
T-connector.
7.
Tighten the cover nut on the T-connector.
8.
Leave the descaling agent to work for at least 60 minutes.
9.
The tank will be automatically drained and flushed when the
switch on the steam generator is turned on.

re that the automatic draining and flushing start.
After descaling, the tank should be drained and flushed. The
steam generator is then ready for use again.
If there is a large amount of limescale in the steam generator, it
will be necessary to perform descaling several times in immediate
succession.

Note: Descaling agent must
not enter the steam pipe.
Descaling agent must not under any circumstances enter the ste-
am pipe. There is a risk that sensitive materials (such as marble/
limestone) may be damaged if decalcifying agents are released
through the steam pipe while the steam generator is producing
steam. Use a funnel with a tube that passes the steam pipe (see
Figure 56) when the descaling agent is added.
