SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
EMS and the distributor of this product accept no
liability for direct or consequential injury or damage
resulting from improper use, arising in particular
through non-observance of the operating instruc-
tions, or improper preparation and maintenance.
Contraindication: ultrasonic oscillations may
prevent cardiac pace makers and defibrillators from
functioning properly. Therefore, we recommend that
patients with a cardiac pace maker or a defibrillator
should not be treated with this product.
Use for the intended purpose only. Before
using the product, make sure the operating instruc-
tions have been carefully studied. This also applies
to any equipment used with this product. Failure
to observe the operating instructions may result in
the patient or user suffering serious injury or the
product being damaged.
Risk of explosion: do not use this product in
the presence of inflammable anaesthetics or gases.
No specific training other than initial profes-
sional training is required to use this medical device.
The practitioner is responsible for performing the
clinical treatments and for any dangers that may
arise due to a lack of skill and/or training.
Before each use, clean, disinfect and sterilize
the different pieces and accessories of this product.
Please refer to the information provided in the
operating instructions. Non-sterile pieces and
accessories may cause bacterial or viral infections.

odgovornost za izravne ili posljedične ozljede ili
štetu nastale neispravnim rukovanjem, a posebno
ako je do njih došlo uslijed nepridržavanja uputa
za rukovanje ili neispravne pripreme i održavanja.
Kontraindikacije: ultrazvučne oscilacije mogu
onemogućiti ispravan rad srčanih elektrostimu-
latora i defibrilatora. Stoga preporučujemo da se
ovim uređajem ne tretiraju pacijenti sa srčanim
elektrostimulatorom ili defibrilatorom.
Koristite samo za namijenjenu svrhu. Prije
korištenja proizvodom, moraju se pažljivo pročitati
ove upute za rukovanje. To se odnosi i na svu
opremu koja se koristi s proizvodom. U slučaju
nepridržavanja uputa za rukovanje postoji opasnost
od ozbiljne ozljede pacijenta ili korisnika ili pak
oštećenja uređaja.
Opasnost od eksplozije: uređaj nemojte
koristiti u blizini zapaljivih anestetika ili plinova.
Nije potrebno proći nikakvu posebnu obuku,
osim početne osobne obuke, kako biste upotre-
bljavati ovaj medicinski uređaj. Liječnik snosi
odgovornost za obavljanje kliničkoga liječenja i bilo
kakve opasnosti kojima se izlaže zbog nedostatka
vještina i/ili obuke.
Prije svake upotrebe očistite, dezinficirajte
i sterilizirajte dijelove i dodatke ovog proizvoda.
U uputama za rukovanje potražite više infor-
macija. Nesterilni dijelovi i dodaci mogu prouzročiti
bakterijske ili virusne infekcije.

gevolgletsel of schade die het gevolg is van onjuist
gebruik, met name door het zich niet houden aan
de gebruiksinstructies of onjuiste voorbereiding
en onderhoud.
Contra-indicatie: Ultrasound trillingen kunnen de
werking van pacemakers en defibrillators verstoren. Wij
adviseren daarom om patiënten met een pacemaker
of defibrillator niet met dit product te behandelen.
Gebruik het product uitsluitend waar het voor
bedoeld is. Zorg vóór gebruik van het product dat
de gebruiksinstructies aandachtig bestudeerd zijn.
Dit is ook van toepassing op andere apparatuur
of onderdelen die in combinatie met dit product
gebruikt worden. Niet volgen van de gebruiksaan-
wijzing kan leiden tot ernstig letsel van de patiënt
of gebruiker of tot beschadiging van het product.
Explosiegevaar: gebruik dit product niet in de
aanwezigheid van ontvlambare narcosemiddelen
of gassen.
Om dit medische apparaat te bedienen
is geen andere specifieke opleiding vereist dan
de oorspronkelijke beroepsopleiding. De arts is
verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van de klinische
behandeling en voor ieder gevaar dat kan ontstaan
door een gebrek aan vaardigheid en/of opleiding.
Reinig, desinfecteer en steriliseer de verschil-
lende onderdelen en accessoires van dit product vóór
elk gebruik. Raadpleeg de informatie in de gebruiksin-
structies. Onsteriele onderdelen en accessoires
kunnen bacteriële of virusinfecties veroorzaken.
