Use only the powder recommended by EMS
for the subgingival application when the PERIO-
FLOW handpiece is connected to the unit. Any
other powder could cause premature wear of the
nozzle and would consequently increase the risk
of emphysema and damage to the unenameled
dentine.
The powders provided by EMS are specially
designed for use with the unit. Do not use powders
from other manufacturers as this could damage the
unit or could adversely affect its efficiency.
Never use an abrasive powder i.e. based on
silica or alumina. This would damage the unit.
Always examine the product for damage
before starting treatment. Damaged accessories
or a damaged unit must not be used and must be
replaced. Use original EMS spare parts and acces-
sories only.
This product must only be repaired by an
approved EMS repair center.
This product has been investigated with
regard to safety from electrical shock and fire
hazard. CSA (Canadian Standard Association)
has not investigated physiological effects.
Certain types of mobile telecommunication
equipment could potentially interfere with this
product. The separation distances recommended
in the note "Electromagnetic compatibility" manual
must be taken into account.
Turn off the water inlet when not in use. The
device is not equipped with Aquastop and the water
hose may disconnect or leak: risk of flooding.

Koristite samo prašak koji je tvrtka EMS
preporučila za subgingivalnu primjenu kad je ručna
jedinica PERIO-FLOW priključena na jedinicu. Bilo
koji drugi prašak mogao bi prouzročiti prijevremeno
trošenje mlaznice i posljedično povećati rizik od
emfizema te oštetiti dentin bez cakline.
Praškovi koje isporučuje tvrtka EMS posebno
su dizajnirani za upotrebu s jedinicom. Ne upotre-
bljavajte praškove ostalih proizvođača jer bi to
moglo oštetiti jedinicu ili negativno utjecati na njenu
učinkovitost.
Nikad ne upotrebljavajte abrazivne praškove
tj. one na bazi silikata ili glinice. To bi oštetilo
jedinicu.
Prije početka tretmana uvijek pregledajte da
proizvod nije oštećen. Oštećeni dodaci ili oštećena
jedinica ne smiju se koristiti i moraju se zamijeniti.
Koristite samo originalne rezervne dijelove i
dodatke tvrtke EMS.
Ovaj proizvod mora popraviti samo ovlašteni
centar za popravke tvrtke EMS.
Ispitana je sigurnost ovog proizvoda na
opasnost od električnog udara i požara. Kanadsko
udruženje za standardizaciju (CSA, Canadian
Standard Association) nije ispitalo fiziološke učinke.
Određene vrste mobilne telekomunikacijske
opreme mogu ometati rad ovog proizvoda. U obzir
se mora uzeti udaljenost preporučena u priručniku
"Elektromagnetska kompatibilnost".
Isključite dovod vode kada se ne upotre-
bljava. Uređaj nije opremljen napravom Aquastop
pa se cijev za vodu može odspojiti ili puštati vodu:
rizik od plavljenja.

poeder dat door EMS voor subgingivale toepassing
wordt aanbevolen. Ander poeder kan voortijdige
slijtage van het spuitstuk veroorzaken en daardoor
het risico op emfyseem en schade aan het ongegla-
zuurde tandbeen veroorzaken.
De door EMS geleverde poeders zijn
speciaal ontworpen voor gebruik met de unit.
Gebruik geen poeders van andere fabrikanten, dit
zou de unit kunnen beschadigen of kunnen leiden
tot verminderde efficiency.
Gebruik nooit een schuurpoeder d.w.z.
gebaseerd op silica of alumina. Dit zou de unit
beschadigen.
Controleer het product altijd op bescha-
digingen voordat u met de behandeling begint.
Gebruik geen beschadigde accessoires of een
beschadigde unit, maar vervang deze. Gebruik
uitsluitend originele EMS reserveonderdelen en
accessoires.
Dit product mag uitsluitend gerepareerd
worden door een erkend EMS reparatiecentrum.
Dit product is onderzocht op veiligheid betref-
fende elektrische schokken en brandgevaar. De
CSA (Canadian Standard Organisation) heeft geen
andere fysiologische effecten onderzocht.
Mobiele telecommunicatieapparatuur van
bepaalde types kunnen mogelijke interferentie met
dit product veroorzaken. Houd rekening met de
aanbevolen tussenruimte in de notitie "Elektromag-
netische Compatibiliteit".
Sluit de watertoevoer af wanneer niet in
gebruik. Het apparaat is niet voorzien van Aquastop
en de waterslang kan losraken of lekken: risico op
overstroming.
