CLEANING AND STORAGE

IT IS IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THE CLEANING AND STORAGE SPECIFICATIONS SO AS
TO ENSURE THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE EQUIPMENT AND TO PREVENT THE
INCIDENTS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 7. TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE
Follow the indications shown in the pictures in the section [3] for emptying, cleaning and storing the unit.
Always clean the equipment prior to storage or after use (never leave the pump with phytosanitary products in
its interior for more than 8 hours). For a comprehensive cleaning, operate the backpack using clean water.
To extend the correct operation and the useful life of the sprayer, it is important to use and clean the filters using a brush
with plenty of water, never sharp objects. See the location of the filters in the photo [3.5]. The suction filter has only
one mounting position for proper operation. No force is required for installation [3.6].
ONCE THE EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN CLEANED, IT IS RECOMMENDED TO FILL IT WITH TWO
LITRES OF CLEAN WATER FOR ITS SUBSEQUENT STORAGE. THIS WILL PREVENT THE
PUMP VALVES FROM DRYING OUT AND WILL MAKE IT EASIER TO START THE PUMP THE
VERY NEXT OPERATING DAY. [3.8]
For the exterior cleaning of the equipment, use a damp cloth with neutral soap. Never clean with pressurised water.
Store the equipment with clean water and out of reach of children in a clean, dry place, away from direct
sunlight and excess heat and cold (between 5°C and 30°C). (See battery storage in Section 6. Battery).
During transport, the sprayer must be firmly secured to prevent risk of falls, collisions or injury.

THE EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO EACH CAMPAIGN AND TO FOLLOW THE MAINTENANCE
SPECIFICATION SO AS TO ENSURE THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE EQUIPMENT, TO
EXTEND ITS USEFUL LIFE AND TO PREVENT THE INCIDENTS SUMMARISED IN SECTION
7. TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE.
VERIFICATION: At the beginning of each spraying campaign, it is recommended to carry out the verification using
water as regards the correct operation of the equipment. If damaged, repair prior to use with the original spare parts.
EXTEND GASKET SERVICE LIFE: Lubricate the moving parts regularly. See photo [4.1]
NOZZLE CALIBRATION: Prior to each spraying campaign, check the condition of the nozzle and replace if significant
damage or wear and tear is discerned. [4.2] Only "mesh 50" filters are to be used, with a filter mesh width of 0.35mm.
BATTERY: For battery maintenance, see Section 6. Battery.
