Preparation for use/operating instructions

Thopaz + is in Standby and is ready for use with the factory

settings� (To change factory settings please refer to chapter
10 – Changing settings)
Connect the Thopaz + system to the patient catheter (drain)

according to hospital guidelines� To start the therapy press
"On"�
1�1 Seal off the conical
connector of the patient
tubing with your thumb
(through the packaging)�
The tubing must not be
kinked otherwise the
measuring tube will be
closed�
2�1 Press "OK"
Test passed:
Thopaz + is ready for use�
Test failed:
Leak in the system:
– Check tubing connection�
– Check seal is correctly
placed�
– Check pressure relief valve
for tight connection�
– Replace canister and/or
tubing if necessary�
