6.1. Changing gear

As well as the electric pedal assist feature, the e-bike is fitted with gears. You can easily change
gears using the twist shifter on the right handgrip (see figure 34).
• Turn the twist shifter towards you (counterclockwise) to shift down in gear.
• Turn the twist shifter away from you (clockwise) to shift up in gear.
You can shift gears while stationary or while cycling.

If your e-bike is equipped with automatic gears, you will not have a gear shifter on your right
handlebar, and you can set the pedalling rate through the Bosch display by holding down
the selection button see figure briefly and adjusting the pedalling rate at "eShift". The bike
automatically switches gear based on this pedalling rate.
6.2. Setting the assist level

You can adjust the assist level either while stationary or while cycling using the control unit.
