11. Possible problems/error messages that
may arise
11.1. Battery
The battery k is protected against deep discharging, overcharging, overheating and short
circuits. In hazardous situations, the battery is automatically disengaged and an error displayed.

11.2. On-board computer
The on-board computer continuously checks that all parts are working correctly. If a fault is
identified, an error message will be shown on the display of the on-board computer O.
Depending on the error message, the power unit may be automatically turned off. When this
happens, you can continue cycling without the assist feature. Check the meaning and possible
solution to the error message before the next trip.

If the on-board computer does not function correctly and can no longer be operated, reset the
on-board computer by pressing the on/off button on the on-board computer for at least eight
seconds.

Possible cause
The battery k
is too warm or
too cold.
The battery k is defective.
At least one of the plugs is not
connected correctly.
The battery contacts or ports
are dirty.
The wall socket is defective.
The cable or charger is
defective.
Solution
Disconnect the charger
and allow the battery k
charger to cool. Only resume
charging once both the battery
and charger have cooled.
Contact a qualified e-bike
specialist to replace the
battery.
Check all connectors.
Carefully clean the battery port
and contacts with a soft, dry
cloth.
Try another socket.
Contact Dutch ID or a qualified
e-bike specialist.
