7.1.1 TIGHTENING TORQUES
Screws and bolts of different types and sizes must be tightened during maintenance procedures.
The following tables show, depending on the type of screws and/or bolts present, the value of the maximum
tightening torque to be used and observed in order to avoid problems with the product.

CAUTION
It is forbidden for the operator to carry out maintenance and/or tightening of screws and bolts reserved for the
mechanical maintenance technician or the electrical maintenance technician.
7.1.2 BLADE LUBRICATION
Depending on the time of use, and in any case periodically, the friction areas must be lubricated to safeguard both
blades and mechanical components. This ensures that the blades are kept in good condition, reduces wear and
tear and extends the life of the shear and blades.
To carry out proper lubrication, the blade must be opened, then proceed with the following steps:
•
Switch the tool off with the ON-OFF button (5) and remove the battery
(13) from the tool.
•
Spray lubricating oil from the oil bottle onto all moving parts of the blade
assembly.
•
Insert the battery (13) and switch on the tool.
•
For even oil distribution, press and release the operating lever (1)
several times, without cutting.
Refer to paragraph 7.3.3 for the required type of lubricant.
CAUTION
Do not use unsuitable or waste oil as it can damage the blades and mechanical components.
CAUTION
Before lubricating the blades, it is imperative to meticulously clean them by removing any cutting residue
that could act as a contaminant and affect proper lubrication.
