ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONARY REQUIREMENTS
Only recharge with chargers specified by the manufacturer.
A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a fire hazard if used with another type of battery
pack.
Only use products with battery packs specifically defined for the product supplied.
Use of other unintended battery packs may lead to a risk of damage or fire or increase ageing of the battery pack.
When the battery is not in use, it should be kept separated/far away from objects such as paper, coins,
keys, pins/clips, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection between the terminals.
Short-circuiting the terminals can cause burns or fire.
Under abnormal conditions, liquids can be spilled/ejected from the battery, so any contact of the person
and/or body parts with them should be avoided. If there is accidental contact, eyes, hand, etc., wash with
water and contact a doctor.
Liquids expelled from the battery can create irritation and/or burns.
Do not use a battery pack or product when it is damaged or modified.
Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour that could lead to fire, explosion or risk of
injury/wound.
Do not expose the battery pack to fire or excessive temperatures.
Exposure to fire or temperatures above 80°C (176°F) can lead to explosions.
It is absolutely forbidden to repair/open the battery
Since this is a hermetically sealed product, it is forbidden for any person to attempt repairs or replacement of battery
parts, otherwise there is a risk of injury/wound, risk of fire, electric shock, explosion, contact with corrosive liquids,
thermal effects, etc.
CAUTION!
PUTTING OUT OF SERVICE FOR LONG PERIODS
Before taking the battery out of service for a long period (max. 3 months) recharge it completely and observe the
temperature limits for storage and preservation.
CAUTION!
PUTTING BACK INTO OPERATION AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF INACTIVITY
Before use after a long period of non-use (or after three months of non-use) fully recharge it.
