➢ do not connect the charger's electrical contacts with metal objects or short-circuit them;
➢ ensure that there are no sparks or sources of ignition near the battery; during charging, batteries can emit
explosive gases;
➢ do not use the product in violation of regulatory and/or legislative requirements or those set out in this manual.
4.
SAFETY
4.1 GENERAL INFORMATION
It is the customer's responsibility to instruct personnel in charge of the use of the product on the risks of accidents,
safety devices and the general rules on accident prevention laid down by EU directives and the legislation of the country
where the product is used.
The personnel in charge must be familiar with the characteristics of the product.
They must also have read this manual and all the manuals mentioned in Chapter 10 (Annexes) in full.
Installation and maintenance work must be carried out by qualified personnel.
DANGER
Unauthorised tampering with or replacement of one or more parts of the product, the adoption of accessories that
change the use of the product, and the use of spare parts other than those recommended may become a cause
of risk of injury.
The installation and maintenance of the product must only be carried out by instructed and duly qualified personnel,
with the electrical, mechanical and pneumatic technical knowledge and any requirements valid at the site or in the
country where the product is used.
4.2 APPLIED DIRECTIVES AND TECHNICAL STANDARDS
Every product destined for countries within the European Union (EU), or countries for which there is an agreement
with the EU regarding product legislation, is supplied with a Declaration of Conformity in accordance with the Machinery
Directive 2006/42/EC.
The product supplied by CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. does not belong to one of the categories of machinery listed in Annex
IV of Directive 2006/42/EC, therefore for the purposes of the attestation of conformity of the product with the provisions
of this directive, CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. shall apply the conformity assessment procedure with internal checks on the
manufacture of the product as set out in Annex VIII of Directive 2006/42/EC.
NOTE: In the case of supplies of products in non-EU areas, unless otherwise contractually agreed between
the parties, CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l., for the purposes of product design and manufacture, conforms for the applicable
parts, and in accordance with the state of the art, to the ISO, IEC standards applied to the product.
The product has been designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with the following EU directives:

machinery.
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU (for products falling under it)
