This product must not be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
The charger must not be used by children or persons who are unable to read and understand the instruction
manual, unless they are under the close supervision of a responsible person who can guarantee its safe use.
Operate the battery charger indoors in a dry environment protected from rain, ice, snow, wind or high
humidity and within the permitted and expected environmental limits.
The place of use of the charger must be clean, cool, dry and not subject to frost and/or exposure to direct sunlight
or abnormal temperatures beyond those permitted.
Ensure that the area around the charger is adequately ventilated.

Use of the product under conditions other than those listed is not permitted. Also refer to paragraph 4.7 for guidance
on the installation and usage environment.
It is obligatory to touch the connection cable, the extension cable and its mains plug with dry hands,
ensuring that there are no wet and/or damp parts of the body or surrounding areas that could pose a risk to
the person.
Before connecting the charger to the mains, make sure that the charger corresponds to the indications on the
charger (see paragraph 2.2 'Technical data').
For greater electrical safety, it is recommended to connect the charger with a differential switch (30 mA,
30ms).
CAUTION
During charging, an incorrect mains voltage or mains frequency can cause an overvoltage in the
charger. The battery charger may be damaged.
Ensure that the mains voltage and mains frequency correspond to the specifications on the
charger's rating plate.
Keep the charger away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects (including iron
filings and/or metals in general) that could cause a connection between the battery or charger contacts. A short
circuit between the battery or charging contacts may result in burns and fires.
The charger must be used on a table and/or flat surface in a stable manner and not on moving vehicles or
vehicles.
Position the charger in such a way that the inserted battery cannot fall out.
Always remove the battery from the charger once the charging cycle is complete.
The use of battery chargers for uses other than those permitted can lead to dangerous situations.
DANGER
If the charger intended for one battery type is used with other battery types, there is a danger of fire
and/or explosion resulting in serious or fatal injury and damage to property and/or persons.
The following table describes the meaning of the different symbols that may be present on the battery charger.
Failure to observe the symbols and safety signs may lead to dangerous situations with possible harmful effects
such as serious personal injury or death and/or damage to the equipment itself.
