4.4 CE MARKING
A CE identification plate/label is attached to each product (Figure 2).
The model, serial number and year of manufacture are shown on the manufacturer's CE plate and affixed on the
product. The CE plate is applied on the product/tool and shows the data and symbols described below:
1) CE conformity marking according to directive 2006/42/EC.
2) Company name and complete address of the manufacturer.
3) The compulsory requirement for all personnel in charge of use and/or maintenance of the product to read the
use and maintenance manual.
4) Product name.
5) Product type: Type name/sales code.
6) Serial number.
7) Year of manufacture, i.e. the year in which the manufacturing process was concluded.
8) Information pursuant to "WEEE" Directive 2012/19/EU: Electric and electronic waste may contain hazardous
substances for the environment and human health and therefore must not be disposed of with domestic
waste, they must be collected in dedicated collection centres.
9) Product supply voltage.
IMPORTANT!
To properly identify the product, refer to the type, serial number and year of manufacture shown on the
identification plate and quote them to CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. for any service. assistance or spare parts
request.
IMPORTANT!
The CE marking is unique and it certifies the conformity of the product with the machinery directive and
the other applicable directives in compliance with the conditions prescribed and shown in this manual.
With a machine/product consisting of several parts, a CE plate/label is affixed to the product and an
identification label on the main unit (e.g. ATRA.xxxx) to identify it.
IMPORTANT!
The customer is in charge of checking the integrity of the CE plate/label.
The user must replace the CE and/or warning plates which become illegible due to wear.
It is strictly forbidden to remove the plates/labels on the product.
CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l declines any responsibility on the safety of the product in case of non-compliance with
this prohibition.
The CE marking is placed on the product as shown in the following figure.
