CAUTION
Do not make leverage with the extension pole while cutting, as this condition can lead to possible breakage
of mechanical and electronic components, as well as create a dangerous condition for the person.
6.3.2 CUTTING HARD BRANCHES
If the branch is too hard, cutting is interrupted, causing the blades to reopen automatically, and this causes
excessive strain on the entire mechanics of the product.
In order to preserve the electronics and mechanical components of the shear, avoid such branches by choosing
more suitable (soft) parts of the branch to avoid overheating and excessive strain on the shear as a result of
interrupted cutting attempts.
CAUTION
If the branch blocks blade closing (3), or automatic reopening occurs during cutting, change the cutting
position. Do not attempt to release the shear before having reopened the blade (3), as this condition can lead
to possible breakage of mechanical and electronic components, as well as create a dangerous condition for
the person.
6.4 PRODUCT HANDLING
Before handling the tool, in case of short movements, make sure that:
a) The blade is closed (see paragraph 6.2.3);
b) The shear is switched off;
Once the above conditions have been verified and ensured, proceed to handle the shear.
In the case of moving from different sites or for long journeys, in addition to the above (point a-b)are, it is also
prescribed to:
Remove the battery;
Put the shear and battery back in their packaging.
6.5 STORING
After use, or in the case of long periods of inactivity, it is prescribed to:
Follow the procedure for shutting down and securing the product, above (see paragraph 6.4).
Remove cutting debris from the blades (2-3).
Put the guard (12) back on and completely clean all debris from the shear.
NOTE: do not use compressed air, which could lead to a risk of throwing material, rather use a brush
and/or cloth.
Once the operations described above have been successfully carried out, insert the shear into its packaging
Follow all maintenance regulations described in the manual as well as current and applicable safety standards.
