DANGER
Before starting the product, make sure that the blades are not open and that they are not in contact with
foreign bodies or live parts.
Get into a stable and safe working position, which guarantees perfect balance (for example a flat and dry
surface).
Use the product, accessories, etc. in compliance with these instructions and considering the working
conditions and operations to be performed.
Always check before each use that the safety and command and control systems are in perfect working
order.
Hold the product firmly using the hand most suitable for the operator, ensuring a firm grip with three
fingers and thumb on the handle and index finger ready to press the operating lever.
Pay particular attention to the handle, which must always be dry, clean (pruning residues, oil, etc.)....
using the PPE provided.
Pay attention when cutting branches under tension, since they may cause loss of control of the product
due to a whiplash effect.
When in contact with material other than wood (e.g. vineyard wire, vineyard support poles, etc.), the
blades can be damaged as well as cause sparks. Please note that it is forbidden to use the product for
any purpose other than stipulated in paragraph 3.1.
Keep the blades clean and sharp and lubricated.
Inhaling atomised oil and/or wooden dust may cause irritation or intoxication of the operator's breathing
apparatus. In case of prolonged ailments, consult a competent doctor.
Prevent any unintentional switch-on of the product. When handling or carrying the tool, make sure that
the switch is at OFF position before connecting it to the power source (battery pack).
The display flashes, beeps and indicates the type of error to explain why the tool is blocked due to a
malfunction. In this condition, to start the tool back up again refer to the alarm list.
DANGER
Do not transport the product with the blades open.
Before connecting the battery, make sure that the connector has clean contacts (no dirt or other obstructive
material), that they are dry and free of oxidation.
Disconnect the battery pack before carrying out any adjustments or routine and extraordinary maintenance.
For sharpening and maintenance of the blades, follow the instructions in this manual.
Only use the product with the accessories specified by the Manufacturer.
Before any routine maintenance operations, read this manual carefully. For maintenance activities that are
not indicated in the manual, please contact the T.A.C. (Technical Assistance Centre).
Maintain all labels and pictograms on the tool in a perfectly legible and undamaged condition, with
particular reference to those relating to danger and safety signs.
BEWARE OF KICKBACK
Kickback can occur under various conditions, such as cutting a 'material' under tension. In order to
prevent kickback, make sure beforehand that the material is not under tension, that it is of the required
type (woody material) and that it is under control by gripping it firmly. By knowing the correct
conditions of use and prevention, the surprise factor and the occurrence of accidents can be
eliminated. Ensure that the area where you are cutting is free of obstacles and/or materials that can be
ejected.
