7.1.4 CUTTING BLADE OVERLAP ADJUSTMENT
NOTE
As a result of using the shear and sharpening the cutting blade, the blade may wear down, resulting in a reduction
in profile that may lead to an incomplete overlap with the fixed blade.
If this is the case, the blade overlap point must be adjusted in the closed position as shown below.
1. The blades are too closed.
2. Completely unscrew the ring nut (10) securing the extension pole.
3. Turn the extension pole (9) anti-clockwise.
4. The blades are not closed.
5. Completely unscrew the ring nut (10) securing the extension pole.
6.
Turn the extension pole (9) clockwise.
7.
The blades are closed properly
CAUTION!
During use, if the ring nut (10) securing the extension pole (9) is loose, stop use immediately. Hold down the
operating lever (1) to close the blade, and then tighten the clamping ring (10) on the extension pole.
