CAUTION
The use of face (protective shield) and body protection is mandatory for all operating and maintenance
personnel.
4.13.7 SLIPPING
Any leakage of lubricant due to chain lubrication can cause the personnel in charge of use and operation to slip.
Risk also present in the case of non-compliance with requirements/conditions of use.
In order to avoid the risk of slipping, the product should only be used from the ground in a safe and stable position,
ensuring perfect and stable balance during use and handling.
CAUTION
Access these areas with non-slip shoes and keep them clean at all times. Carry out periodic inspections
according to use.
NOTE
The conditions of the work site (slope, surface, etc.) are not taken into account in this risk, please refer to
paragraphs 3.1 and 3.2 for the additional requirements given, remembering that it is the user's responsibility
to carry out a risk assessment of the work site and the correct conditions of use of the product.
4.13.8 WHIPLASH EFFECT
•
Beware of kickback and upward bouncing movements generated by tools during cutting operations. They may
cause the operator to lose their balance or control of the product.
•
Pay attention when cutting branches under tension, since they may cause loss of control of the product due to
a whiplash effect.
4.13.9 TRIPPING
•
The haphazard storage of material in general may constitute a tripping hazard and partial or total restriction of
escape routes in case of need.
•
Ensure that operating, transit and escape routes are free of obstacles and comply with current regulations.
4.13.10 CIRCUIT FAULTS
•
Due to possible failures, control, safety and power supply circuits/components may lose part of their
effectiveness, which may lower the safety level.
•
Carry out periodic checks on the functional state of the devices/components on the product and all
connections
4.13.11 LIGHTNING
Since it is a hand-held product that is used outdoors, it is not equipped with protection against the effects of lightning.
•
Inform the personnel in charge of maintenance and ensure that they are duly instructed in the performance of
the task, as well as aware of the residual risks present.
•
It is forbidden to carry out any activities during adverse weather conditions (risk of lightning or thunderstorms).
