ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY LEVEL
The machine contains electronic components subject to Electromagnetic Compatibility regulations, affected by
conducted and radiated emissions.
Emission values comply with regulatory requirements through the use of components that comply with the
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive, suitable connections and installation in accordance with the requirements
of the component suppliers.
The machine therefore complies with the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) directive.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The product covered by this manual is an electric chain pruner, powered by a battery, the permitted use of which is
specified in the following paragraph.
3.1 PERMITTED - INTENDED USE
The product is for a professional use only in agriculture.
The chain pruner is a tool used for cutting and pruning orchards, vineyards, citrus and olive trees and all trees in
general. It is capable of cutting woody plants with a maximum diameter as shown in the technical data table in
paragraph 2.2.
The use of these products must only and exclusively be entrusted to trained and authorised personnel with the
professional knowledge and skills to ensure their safe and proper use.
The training and sensitizing of the operator must be entrusted to skilled personnel, capable of developing qualified
theoretical and practical training to enable them to correctly implement all the technical operations and behaviours
that are decisive for their own safety and the safety of persons working in the areas where the product is used.
Ways of use specified in the manual as incorrect must never be permitted under any circumstances.
Improper use of the product and/or lack of maintenance can lead to serious danger to personnel.
The actions described in this manual as forbidden and not permitted, which obviously cannot cover the whole
range of potential possibilities for "non-permitted use" of the product, are however the most "reasonably"
foreseeable ones and are to be considered absolutely forbidden.
Only use the product from the ground in a safe and stable position, ensuring perfect and stable balance during use
and handling.
It is forbidden to use the product when precariously balanced on surfaces where the risk of slipping is present (for
example on a hill and/or on damp grass, snow, ice, etc.) or any place where it is impossible to maintain a stable
balance (for example on steep slopes).
Avoid working in bad weather conditions, such as fog, heavy rain, strong winds, hailstorms, snow and ice,
thunderstorms (risk of electrocution).
It is forbidden to use the product for cutting small bushes and shrubs or which could cause the risk of entanglement
in the cutting device as well as the risk of material being thrown towards the operator or blocking of the cutting
device with the risk of loss of balance
Cutting or pruning must be carried out using the 'straight' part of the bar.
In order to avoid damage to property and/or persons, it is forbidden to use the tip of the bar for cutting or pruning
activities.
Cutting activities must be carried out in compliance with the maximum cutting dimensions specified in the technical
data table of the purchased product and only with woody plants.
It is forbidden to cut branches that are larger than the maximum diameter allowed and stated on the technical data
table.
Do not carry out cuts with the tool above shoulder height; in order to avoid incorrect ergonomic operating
conditions, which could cause postural hazards for the operator over time.
