agricultural environment (type/materials and products being processed, etc.), the requirements laid down and
depending on the provisions in force in the country of use.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
A detailed description of the 'pictograms' and 'PPE' required specifically for the product supplied is described in
the various chapters of this manual.
This paragraph only lists and explains the meanings of 'pictograms' and 'PPE'.
1.6 PROHIBITION OF MODIFICATIONS
It is forbidden to carry out any modification work on the product, and in particular it is forbidden to carry out
modifications that may reduce the its safety. In particular, it is forbidden to remove or modify guards and/or safety
and/or warning and/or control systems provided by the Manufacturer.
Failure to comply with the instructions contained in this manual and in the accompanying documentation releases
the manufacturer from any direct or indirect liability.
For any data not included or not deducible from the following pages, please consult the manufacturer directly.
It is also forbidden to use the product with third-party components not originally supplied with the product.
This may lead to accidents and/or injuries, for which the Manufacturer cannot be held liable.
Please note that the manufacturer's civil and criminal liability lapses in the event of product modifications.
Modifications of any kind that alter the original configuration of the product by introducing risks not evaluated by
the manufacturer shall exempt the manufacturer from any liability.
In this case, the manufacturer shall be held harmless from any direct or indirect liability.
1.7 TERMINOLOGY AND ACRONYMS USED
EXPOSED PERSON: (Annex I, 1.1.1 Directive 2006/42/EC).
Any person wholly or partly in a danger zone.
INTENDED USE: (Annex I, 1.1.1 Directive 2006/42/EC).
Use of the product in accordance with the information provided in the instructions for use.
DANGER ZONE: (Annex I, 1.1.1 Directive 2006/42/EC).
Any zone within and/or around the product in which a person is subject to a risk to his health or safety
RISK: (Annex I, 1.1.1 Directive 2006/42/EC).
Combination of the probability and the degree of an injury or damage to health that can arise in a hazardous
situation;
RESIDUAL RISK (Ref. UNI EN ISO 12100:2010).
Hazard that could not be eliminated or reduced by design, against which protections are not (partially or
totally) effective.
The manual (chapter 4) contains the residual risks and the information, instructions and
warnings/requirements for the management of these residual risks, which must be considered, taken care of
and managed by the customer/user.
