CAUTION
The supplied batteries are delivered partially charged, so it is recommended to fully charge the batteries
before first use.
Connect the battery (18) to the charging connector (22) of the charger (20), and the charger plug to the
power socket.
The LED lights (21) of the battery charger light up red during charging and turn green when the battery is
fully charged.
5.3 CHECKS AND TESTS BEFORE START-UP
This paragraph sets out the checks and controls that must be carried out on the product before start-up.
•
Check that the cutter bar and chain are installed correctly (see paragraph 7.1.3);
•
Check that the chain is properly tensioned, sharp and without signs of damage (see paragraph 5.2.1);
•
Check that the oil level in the reservoir is not below the last bar (minimum) and top up to the maximum level
if needed (see paragraph 5.2.2);
•
Checking the correct insertion and locking of the battery (see paragraph 5.2.3);
•
Check that no screws have loosened on the tool;
•
Check that all the safety and protective systems are functional and correctly assembled;
•
Check that the handle is clean and dry.
